SUPER SUMMER IN THE

PARK DAY CAMP AT WILDWOOD

Super Summer in the park is located at Wildwood Park and takes place weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. throughout the summer. This fun and engaging day camp is open to kids entering first through sixth grades.

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY THE PREVIOUS FRIDAY

SUPER SUMMER IN THE

PARK DAY CAMP AT KIWANIS PARK

Camp Fire Walla Walla has partnered with the City of College Place and the United Way of Walla Walla to offer a Summer Day Camp in College Place! Located at Kiwanis Park, this camp takes place Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on selected weeks throughout the summer. This fun and engaging day camp is open to kids entering first through sixth grades. Must be a College Place Resident to Qualify!

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED BY THE PREVIOUS FRIDAY

Camp is located at Kiwanis Park in College Place.

WEEKLY THEMES

ALL CAMPS

Week 1: Art Extravaganza - Come kick off the first week of summer camp and bring your creativity!

Week 2: Water Works - Grab your swimsuit, sun block, and a towel! It's time to splash right into summer.

Week 3: Block Party - "We want YOU" to come celebrate America's 242nd Birthday with us! There will be no program 7/4/19 or 7/5/2019

Week 4: Playground Games - the world is our playground! Join us this week in playing variety of yard games!

Week 5: Outdoor Cooking and Living Skills - into the wild we go! Experience the skills needed to survive and be a happy camper in the great outdoors.

Week 6: Vacation Destinations - If you never go, you'll never know! Explore the world and learn about hot spots around the globe.

Week 7: Zoology - Discover Northwest native species, the wildlife of the Walla Walla Valley, and exotic species with us this week!

Week 8: Sports of all Sorts - "Don't be afraid to fail, be afraid not to try" - Micheal Jordan. Come try out a variety of physical activities and learn the value of teamwork!

Week 9: Get Messy - Wear old clothes this week! At the end of the day, your feet should be dirty, your hair should be messy, and your eyes should be sparkling!

Week 10: Camp Fire Spirit Week - Show off your spark and light the fire within this week while learning about the history of Camp Fire Walla Walla.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All children must have a completed Summer Camp Registration Form prior to beginning camp. You can complete a registration form Online or in person at the Camp Fire office.

You MUST PRE-REGISTER & MAKE PAYMENT by the previous Friday to attend camp.

Registration Fee: 

$25/child

College Place Summer Camp Weekly Fee:

1-3 Children: $85/Week

4+ Children: $170

A Late Fee of $20 will apply if child is not registered by 5:00 pm the previous Friday.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Camp is open to children entering first through sixth grades. Children must have completed kindergarten. 

  • Super Summer is open from 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Supervision of your children cannot be provided outside of our program hours. 

  • Rainy Days - signs will be posted if we are at Sharpstein Elementary School. Make sure to give us a call or email us in advance with questions regarding location.

  • Morning snack, lunch and afternoon snack will be provided each day. Check the Camp bulletin board for menu information. You can send your child with their own snacks and lunch if desired. Please DO NOT send anything with nuts, including peanut butter. 

  • Super Summer in the Park is primarily an outdoor program. To help keep your children safe and comfortable, have them come to the park with appropriate clothing and items. 

    • Sunscreen - Remember to apply generously to your child each morning. You can also send sunscreen with your child to apply throughout the day.

    • Water bottle - Send a water bottle with your child's name written on it in permanent marker. 

    • Shoes - Closed-toe shoes are preferred at the park. Sandals are okay, but please no flip flops. 

    • Bathing Suit - Send a bathing suit with your child EVERY DAY. Campers will have water play throughout the week, as well as go swimming on Tuesdays. 

    • Towel - Remember to include a towel for swimming or water play. 

    • Water Shoes - Water shoes are a good option for water play. They are great for protecting your child from sharp objects on the ground. 

    • Please mark all of your child's belongings with their first and last name!

  • Please leave all toys and games at home! Camp Fire is not responsible for campers personal items. 

  • A weekly schedule can be found on the camp bulletin board. We encourage parents to view the schedule and be familiar with the planned weekly activities. If we are not at the park, please check the door on the shelter to find out where we are located. We will always post a sign to let you know our current location and include our cell phone numbers.
