Frequently asked questions
Is Cryolipolysis suitable for me?
The ideal candidate for Cryolipolysis is a person who is mildly above their ideal weight, and cannot shift stubborn pockets of fat while maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Cryolipolysis is only suitable for areas of subcutaneous fat, and cannot treat visceral fat. If you are looking to target visceral fat alone, Fat Cavitation treatments may be of assistance.
What areas can be treated?
Cryolipolysis is best suited for areas of stubborn fat within the inner thighs, abdomen, hips, under buttocks, upper arms, “bra strap fat” and “muffin tops”. For best results, speak to your specialist regarding the areas you would ideally like to target to ensure cryolipolysis is suitable for your goals.
Where does the fat go?
Once the fat cells have been destroyed, the remains are then naturally flushed out via the body’s lymphatic system, and are unnoticeable to the individual.
These results are scientifically proven, long lasting and noticeable to the naked eye.
Are results permanent?
Yes, results are permanent providing you maintain a healthy lifestyle that is inclusive of a balanced diet and stabilized weight.
What will I experience during treatment?
During your treatment, anti-freeze pads will be placed on your treated areas to protect the skin. The machine will then begin the process of cryolipolysis in which the fat will be drawn into a suction cup as the targeted cooling process begins. You will experience a slight, pain-free pulling sensation. The area will also feel cold, though many patients report a numbing effect and do not feel any sensation after a few minutes.
When will I see results?
Results can be seen as soon as 1 week with our supercharged packages however with fat freezing alone treatments results are typically noticeable four to six weeks after the first treatment. Full results are dependent on your body’s metabolic rate, though usually are 12 weeks after your first session. You will be weighed, measured and have photographs taken of the targeted areas to effectively track your progress.
